Why Nouvelle?

Nouvelle and Nouvelle Soft is made from only premium brand 100% recycled high quality paper, which may otherwise end up in land-fill sites. No optical brightening agents are used in its production!

Nouvelle and Nouvelle Soft are the only major brands of toilet tissue made from recycled paper. Nouvelle has found that softness is the most important thing that consumers look for when they choose a toilet tissue, so we have striven to provide a soft and luxurious paper for our customers.

In July 2000 we introduced Softest Ever Nouvelle, we've now launched new Nouvelle Soft which is softer still.

Why is Nouvelle Soft on Nature?

In blind consumer tests, Nouvelle Soft was described as much softer than any Nouvelle we had made before. It was also seen to be the best value for money. Now there is no compromise - we can all have a toilet tissue that is soft on you and soft on nature.

Nouvelle has clearly flushed away ideas that recycled toilet tissue is scratchy and uncomfortable, and delighted our customers.

• In the production of Nouvelle Soft we recycle as much as we can of the water we use. Stringent regulations are applied to the quality of the water which paper mills return to rivers
• The paper mill where Nouvelle is produced has achieved the award of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System for its operations, certified by a third party
• Nouvelle's polythene packaging is 100% recyclable, where such facilities exist. Such facilities are in short supply, but in the meantime this packaging can also make a valuable contribution to energy from waste schemes
